How to study with friends effectively (3 important tips)

We all know how difficult studying with friends can be more especially  if you prioritize the laughter, the gossip, etc.

making the right choices when forming the group will help you to realize the maximum profit out of your study group. Below are some guidelines that you should follow when creating a study group.

1.    Choose members carefully
Choose people with the similar academic goals as you.   You should also always beware to keep your group to a good size. A group of more than five members rarely produces desired results. You must also bear in mind that good friends rarely make good study partners.
2.    Create a regular schedule.
Produce a routine for the entire week in advance so that everyone should know the exact time, place and the topics to prepare for discussion. However you have to be flexible because something may bump in and disturb your routine. You will be required to reschedule your meeting rather than skipping it all together. You should share contacts so that you should be able to communicate when that situation arises.
3.    Attend meetings prepared.
Meeting in a group study doesn’t mean that you should ignore your personal study sessions. You will not contribute effectively if you don’t study the material to be covered thoroughly before attending the meeting. You should bring your ideas and questions so that your friends can help you in areas which are confusing you.
if you know the answer, explaining it to your friends solidifies your understanding of the concept.
